Happy mothers day...

Although mothers day in england has passed I know americas mothers are still looking forward to their special day, here was my special card to my mother this year, my bestest friend in the whole world <3  (using the first Sue wilson die my mum bought me)! lol.

Spellbinder ornate sqaures is a fantastic die for a quick yet effective die, ive been creating quick cards whilst the kids are napping here are some of the results.

Im really loving creative expressions at the moment, when i saw the demos of these wonderful handbag stamps I had to get one just to try it out, once again I find my crafty hauder habbit coming on and I feel the need to buy the rest of the set.

After a successful shoping day at alley palley craft show i couldnt wait to try out my new stash.
My favorite product wasthe hollywood die from the brand new range of dies from sue wilson and creative expressions, not only do they cut to perfection but they work brilliant with the majority of my spellbinders. Ive also used the classic roses from sue wilson in this beneath. I now feel the complulsive erge to buy the rest....

Another of my favorites was this lace print stamp Ive had my eye on for a while from kaisercraft, its a clear stamp, great quality and was really good vaule for money.

Another of my Favorite must have dies i use on all most all my cards at the moment has to be the Rose creations.. search this die on pintrest or google images and you will have an overload of inspiration! This time i just distressed the pearlescent paper with a metalic cheap ink from do crafts and all the edges whilst the paper was still in the dies.

with tons of cleaning and washing taking over the kitchen and the twins wanting to paint i doubt ill produce a finished product anytime soon but i did finish this a few months back two of my favorite products Just Rite stamps and the French frills dies from spellbinders. These are great products for using your embossing tools and distress inks.

the reason for the title...

These two monkeys, identical twins Jack and Charlie...

I Really began Crafting when i was pregnant with them as i couldnt do much else but sit on my bottom and im not your type of mum that can take hours of Jeramy Kyle or loose woman, it was more the craft channel which became my addiction, i had a small fold up table and a set of five draws....We then mooved house and the crafting had a slight expansion. I now live in a small pink painted cubord full to the brim of diecutting machines, distress inks and gems, you could say i have an addiction to purchasing crafty items, which most of the time i dont get round to using.(This i might add is far too messy to show at this point)

 

The Twins have just turned 19months old and this has meant evan less crafting but whilst Cebeebies is invading my tv screen at least 12 hours a day i get plenty of time to explore pintrest and im brushing up on my techniques, if i dont finish my cards ill atleast be able to present you something savvy ive found on the net.
